I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable during my stay. From the moment I stepped foot in this hotel, I was greeted with a warm smile and a helpful attitude. The service here is truly top-notch.
To sum it up, I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The room was spacious
We asked for non smoking - however room was used by smokers. When told staff - they said nothing could be done. As we were there only one night I did not persue the matter further

This place offers affordable rates and serves as a great starting point for a vacation with on-site parking available.

Parking facility with a hotel relatively close to the city centre facilities. Very comfortable and welcoming.
In hotel during peak weeks in August and some facilities, such as the evening restaurant, "not available for the Ferragosto period"

Staff on reception extremely helpful. Location very good - parking no problem and a pleasant stroll then into Matera centre.
We were staying during August when the hotel seemed virtually shut down. We did manage to get a drink from the bar one evening, but they clearly were not anticipating customers. The dining room at breakfast was rather depressing - so quiet and empty.

Great location, just a short walk from the center and main attractions. Free parking available and easy to access.
The hotel could use some updates and freshening up, especially in terms of decor. The overall condition felt a bit outdated and tired.

First of all hotel's staff very kind, at any occasion ready to be on guests service.
Approach to hotel is a bit complicate by car. Expected a little more from buffet breakfast.

Price and cleanliness were excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good as well.
Location was definitely not a 5 minute walk to the Sassi part of Matera. More like 20-25 min walk. I am not old or slow, it was just much further than 5 mins as it says on the description. Not a deal breaker, but not like you are going to walk out the door and go a block and be there.....

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in the centre of town. The staff were friendly and were really nice too make us feel comfortable. They made our experience lovely. The hotel facilities were great, offering everything we needed for a fantastic stay. the location was perfect for exploring the Sassi and the rest of this historic city. The hotel's cleanliness was also perfect, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.
Could not be improved in any way.

Quiet hotel in southern Italy. Visited when it was very hot in Italy and air conditioning and blinds were fantastic

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk away from the historical center. We also loved how close it was to the railway, making it convenient for day trips. being in the center of town meant we were surrounded by all the amenities we needed.
Compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy, it was lacking in variety and quality.

Nice breakfast and comfortable rooms but. the breakfast at this hotel was definitely a highlight, with a wide range of food available and good quality coffee. the rooms were also comfortable and provided a decent amount of space to relax in. the location was convenient for accessing the main attractions in the area.
Tired decor and poor service ruined the experience. the overall experience was dampened by the very outdated decor and tired state of the facilities.
